Legal
Terms
Last updated 14 October 2026. These terms cover this website and the Venios time-tracking service. If a signed order or master agreement exists for your company, that agreement wins where it conflicts.
The service
Venios lets a company record work sessions, review dashboards, export reports, and manage time off for a remote team. We provide the service as a hosted workspace. You are responsible for the people you invite and the projects you create.
Accounts
Workspace admins must give accurate company information and keep login credentials private. You will tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You must not use Venios to store information you do not have the right to process, or to monitor people in a way the product is not built for.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service. That includes attempting to break access controls, disrupt the platform, scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or use it to violate the law. We may suspend a workspace that threatens the security of the service, after notice when we can give it safely.
Customer data
You keep ownership of the time entries, leave records, and other content your workspace holds. You grant Venios a limited license to host, back up, and display that content solely to provide the service. Our privacy policy describes how personal information is handled.
Plans and fees
Paid plans are billed at the workspace prices shown on the pricing page, unless an order form states otherwise. Yearly plans are paid up front for twelve months at the price of ten. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. Moving between plans applies on the next invoice unless your order says otherwise.
Trials and demos
A demo workspace is for evaluation. We may reset or close it if it is unused or if the trial period ends. Do not put production payroll data in a demo unless we have agreed to that in writing.
Availability
We work to keep Venios available and to give notice of planned maintenance. The service is provided with reasonable care. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, and we are not a system of record for payroll unless an order form says so. Keep your own exports if you need a local copy.
Intellectual property
Venios, the name, the logo, and the software remain ours. These terms do not give you the right to copy the product, use our marks, or reverse engineer the service except where the law does not allow that limit.
Ending the relationship
You may close a workspace from an admin account or by writing to us. We may end a workspace that is unpaid or that breaks these terms. After closure we keep a short export window, then delete customer content from the production system, subject to backups that age out on a schedule.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Venios is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data beyond what a recent export would have preserved. Our total liability in a contract year is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that year. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
The website
The marketing pages are provided for information. Product descriptions can change as the service changes. Do not rely on this website as a formal specification; the workspace and any order form are the description of what you have bought.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in London have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek an injunction in any court for misuse of intellectual property. If a mandatory consumer protection in your country gives you a right these terms cannot waive, that right still applies.
